Notice 3/2016
Fondimpresa published notice 3 2016 “Support for the implementation of training plans aimed at workers at risk of losing their jobs, with Fondimpresa's contribution additional to the companies” Training Account'. It allocated EUR 10,000,000.00 to give continuity to funding lines supporting member companies that intend to implement plans aimed at skills upgrading and retraining exclusively of workers at risk of losing their jobs, which suffer suspensions of employment or reductions in working hours during the employment relationship, pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 148 of 14 September 2015, in the context of agreements involving the use of social shock absorbers.
Fondimpresa's intervention therefore takes the form of an additional contribution from the System Account up to the amount of maximum of 200,000 euro for company.
Article 4 of the notice explains who the training recipients are: (Title 4)
The Plan's training must be aimed exclusively at: - workers admitted to ordinary wage supplementation treatment pursuant to Article 15 of Legislative Decree 14 September 2015 no. 148; - workers admitted to extraordinary wage supplementation treatment pursuant to Article 25 of Legislative Decree 14 September 2015 no. 148; - workers admitted to the wage integration treatment of the solidarity funds pursuant to Articles 30 and 31 of Legislative Decree No. 148 of 14 September 2015; - workers admitted to the wage integration treatment of the wage integration fund (former residual fund) pursuant to Article 29 of Legislative Decree No. 148 of 14 September 2015.
In the case of ordinary treatment, therefore, the period must be longer than 6 weeks, while for extraordinary treatment the period must be longer than 12 weeks. In the case of a reduction in working time, it must concern more than one quarter of the working time calculated over a period of at least 6 months.
Finally, companies that are members of the Fund can apply for training plans at the following times:
- from 9 a.m. on 12 October 2016 until 31 March 2017.
