Spring Boot face-to-face course Spring Boot is an open-source Java-based framework that facilitates the development of Java and Spring applications. Spring Boot offers a fast way to create stand-alone executable Spring applications, with automatic configuration and pre-configuration of many common libraries and dependencies.
The face-to-face Spring Boot course starts with an introduction to the Framework and an overview of Spring Framework and Spring Boot. We will then go through the configuration of the development environment and move on to the creation of a first Spring Boot project and the execution of an application.
We will deal next with Dependency Injection and Inversion of Control (IoC) in Spring Boot. Using Annotations for Configuration and Managing Dependencies with Maven or Gradle. We will conclude this part with an introduction to the concepts of auto-configuration and starter dependencies.
Our course continues with an introduction to the REST architecture and the creation of a REST controller up to the use of Path Variables and Request Parameters.
The course concludes with sessions on Data Persistence with Spring Boot and Testing and Security in Spring Boot.

The main features of Spring Boot
Here are some key points:
Convention on configuration: Spring Boot adopts the principle of “convention on configuration”, reducing the need to manually configure many parts of the Spring application. Many default configurations are already included, allowing developers to concentrate on developing the application rather than on configuring Spring.
Embedded Server: Spring Boot includes an embedded server (such as Tomcat, Jetty or Undertow) which allows the application to run as a stand-alone application, without having to deploy and configure a separate server.
Dependency Management**: Spring Boot simplifies dependency management by providing a set of “starter dependencies” that can be included in the project to add specific functionality such as JDBC, REST, security, etc.
Actuator: Spring Boot Actuator provides functionality to monitor and manage the running application. It includes predefined endpoints to monitor application status, configuration, metrics, logs, etc.
Spring Boot CLI: Spring Boot Command Line Interface (CLI) allows developers to quickly prototype and develop Spring Boot applications using an interactive shell and scripts.
In summary, Spring Boot simplifies the development of Spring applications by reducing the complexity of configuration and providing tools and functionalities to quickly develop robust and scalable Java applications
